Algorithmic Living
Algorithmic Living is a book I'm writing. A few years ago, just as my career was taking off, I realized I had neglected other important aspects of my life. I asked myself what good is an Engineer who cant solve the problem of his own life? Determined to take control, I embarked on a journey of personal optimization. I began by defining 7 key areas: Relationships, Health, Finance, Career, Home, Travel, and Entertainment (in that order). To track my progress objectively, I developed a system of metrics, gathering data from various sources to provide an unbiased view of my growth. I believe that this data-driven approach, combined with consistent effort and perseverance, will pave the way to a more fulfilling and successful life. But Algorithmic Living is not just about numbers. Its also about the story of my journey, my life's philosophy inspired from many religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam etc, philosophers such as Carl Jung, Nietzsche etc, books such as Ikigai, Atomic Habits etc. Below are some of (out of about 60) the key metrics that make me who I am. I have redacted the actual numbers so as to not influence your own journey as I believe everyone has their own unique path and definition of success.
